Adult Dog Vaccinations

 

 

Adult dogs are vaccinated once yearly.  The vaccines that they receive are the following:

• Rabies (required by Arkansas State Law)
• DHPPC (Distemper, Hepatitis, Parvo, Parainfluenzia, Corona)
• Bordatella (either intranasal or SubQ depending on the situation)
• Fecal Exam (to check for intestional parasites)
• Heartworm Direct (Looking at the blood for microfiliaria aka "baby heartworms")
• Heartworm Witness (More advanced test for heartworms)
• We also test outdoor dogs for Erlichia and Lyme (most common tick borne diseases)
